Pewsey Music Festival 2009 will feature a mix of original music with bands from Wiltshire and beyond.
Line-up so far...
Newsflash.......Jon Amor will be headlining with his band.
The Julian Tulk Band - Newbury band with multiple influences subtly breathing through this music for the people.
Beatbullyz - Swindon finest funk/hip-hop/ska trio, who opened Radio 1's Big Weekend in Swindon.
The Operation - a classic-rock three-piece of virtuoso twenty-somethings from Frome - back by popular demand.
I Said Yes - indie-folk outfit from within the Pewsey Vale....."much dancing has already occurred"
The Funkinsteins - party funk with a rocky edge - legends on the Bristol circuit.
TWO MORE ACTS to be confirmed soon. Plus - aural tasters of the day's music and photos of the musicians.
This year we are holding a semi-acoustic open mic contest during the afternoon. The winner(s) will get to play a couple of numbers on the main stage in the early evening.
Kaya Drums will again run a drum workshop.
Thanks to the involvement of Pewsey Area Community Trust (PACT) there will also be demonstrations from local artists and craftsmen; many magical stalls; and children's entertainment from Mad Pete.
We plan to make the 2009 festival even bigger and better than 2008, so carry on letting us know your thoughts via our Contact Us page.
